Revanth Accuses Center of Blocking Metro Project

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack against the Central Government during an official ceremony.

The Chief Minister openly accused the Union Government of deliberately delaying crucial permissions for the Hyderabad Metro rail expansion.

Speaking at a major public gathering, he stated that the development of the state is being hindered by political bias.

He alleged that funding and clearances for the proposed Warangal and Adilabad airports are also being intentionally stalled by central authorities.

Reddy asserted that the state requires a supportive administration at the national level to achieve its full infrastructural potential.

The Chief Minister strongly criticized opposition leaders for attempting to create obstacles for the upcoming mega city projects.

He defended the state government’s decision to rejuvenate the Musi riverfront, calling it essential for urban transformation.

According to the administration, the regional development plans aim to position the state capital as a major global investment hub.

The ruling party reaffirmed its commitment to completing all pending transit and infrastructure projects despite the ongoing financial challenges.

Local leaders echoed the Chief Minister’s remarks, demanding immediate clearance of all pending state proposals from the central ministries.
