New Rule for Official Convoys and Security

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has taken a bold step toward better governance. Following a recent call for fuel conservation from the central leadership, the leader has ordered a major change to his official travels. Starting this Thursday, his security convoy will be reduced by half.

This decision comes as part of a larger effort to save public money and resources. Even though he holds Z-category security, the Deputy Chief Minister believes that leadership should start with personal examples. He has asked his security teams to remove unnecessary vehicles to lower fuel use and reduce the burden on the state budget.

During a recent meeting, the leader gave a serious message to officials and public representatives. He emphasized that being in power is a responsibility to serve, not an opportunity for luxury. He warned that any misuse of government resources would be viewed seriously. His message was clear: discipline and public service must come first.

This move follows a similar decision by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Together, the state leadership is pushing for a new era of simple and efficient administration. By cutting down on large convoys, they aim to reduce traffic issues for common citizens while saving costs.

Pawan Kalyan also spoke about the importance of water and environmental protection. He urged everyone to treat resource conservation as a social duty. His latest “sweet warning” to legislators highlights the need for staying connected with the people and working on real issues rather than focusing on the perks of office.

The state government is now looking to apply these cost-cutting measures across all departments. This change is expected to set a new standard for how leaders operate in the state, ensuring that every rupee spent is for the welfare of the public.
