CM Revanth Reddy Slams Centre Over NEET Paper Leak

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has launched a direct attack on the Central Government and the National Testing Agency. Following the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 exams, the leader expressed deep concern for the millions of students facing an uncertain future. He stated that the repeated paper leaks have essentially “demonetized” the hard work and dreams of young aspirants across the country.

During his address this Thursday, the Chief Minister highlighted the immense emotional and financial burden placed on families. Over 22 lakh students had appeared for the test earlier this month, only to be met with news of irregularities and systemic failure. Reddy demanded a transparent and time-bound investigation to identify the networks responsible for this breach. He insisted that the credibility of national-level examinations must be protected to ensure that merit remains the only criteria for success.

The Chief Minister also drew sharp parallels between the current situation and past issues seen during the previous state administration. He alleged that the lack of accountability in handling competitive exams is a shared failure between the BRS and the BJP. By comparing their governance styles, he warned that “organized corruption” in the education sector would not be tolerated in Telangana. He called for the strictest possible punishment for those involved, regardless of their political influence.

To prevent such scandals in the future, the Telangana government is advocating for stronger technological safeguards and institutional reforms. Reddy assured that the state would stand firmly by the affected students and their parents during this crisis. He emphasized that competitive exams should be tools of opportunity and not a source of constant anxiety for the youth.

As the state moves forward, the administration is focusing on creating a more secure environment for all local and national entrance tests. The Chief Minister’s strong stance sends a clear message to the Centre that the welfare of the student community is a top priority. With new security protocols in discussion, the state aims to set a benchmark for integrity in public examinations.
