Megastar Chiranjeevi Donates 20 Lakhs for Surgeries

In a heartwarming series of gestures this week, the Megastar provided financial assistance totaling 20 lakhs to support the critical medical needs of two individuals close to the film fraternity. The first major contribution was directed toward makeup artist Sivanath, popularly known as Siva. Facing an urgent and life-threatening heart surgery, Sivanath’s family was under immense pressure. Upon learning of the situation through film union members, Chiranjeevi immediately stepped in with 10.5 lakhs to cover the surgical costs. Beyond the financial aid, he personally visited the artist at Apollo Hospitals to offer moral support, ensuring he received the best medical attention and coordinating with doctors for the treatment.
In addition to supporting Sivanath, Chiranjeevi extended 9.5 lakhs to the family of his former manager, KV Narasaiah. The funds were provided to facilitate a necessary bypass surgery for Narasaiah’s wife. Family members noted that the actor didn’t just write a check; he actively spoke with hospital management to arrange for concessions on medical expenses and personally settled the final bills. This act of kindness provided a major relief to a family that has been associated with him for years.

Recently, he donated the 10 lakh prize money from the prestigious NTR Award to various charitable organizations and provided 5 lakhs to the Telugu Film Journalists Association.
