KTR Slams Congress at Warangal Rythu Meet

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President, K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), launched a scathing attack on the ruling Congress government during the ‘Rythu Sangrama Sadassu’ held in Warangal today. Addressing a massive gathering of farmers, KTR accused the state leadership of betraying the agricultural community by failing to fulfill the promises made in their “Farmer’s Declaration” nearly four years ago.
KTR highlighted that out of the 34 specific assurances given to farmers, including the ₹2 lakh crop loan waiver and the promised ₹15,000 per acre under Rythu Bharosa, very little has reached the ground. He compared the current administration’s performance unfavorably to the previous BRS regime, noting that the timely assistance once provided through Rythu Bandhu has now been replaced by delays and administrative confusion.
During his speech, the BRS leader expressed deep concern over the challenges in grain procurement. He warned that if the government continues to ignore the plight of farmers facing deductions for damaged crops, the BRS would intensify its protests across the state. KTR urged the farmers to hold local leaders accountable for the unfulfilled pre-election commitments.
The event, held near Greenwood School in Hanamkonda, saw thousands of party workers in attendance. Before the meeting, KTR offered prayers at the Bhadrakali temple, seeking blessings for the farming community. He concluded by stating that the BRS would remain a steadfast shield for the farmers, fighting until every promise made by the current government is fully implemented.
