KTR Issues Legal Notice to CM Revanth Reddy

The political climate in Telangana has intensified significantly following a major legal development between top leaders. Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao has officially served a legal notice to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The notice demands an unconditional public apology within forty-eight hours regarding controversial public statements. The opposition leader strongly rejected claims linking him to Globarena Technologies, calling the allegations entirely baseless and false.

Political tension escalated after remarks were made during a recent public interaction regarding national exam issues. The Chief Minister had alleged that the firm operated as a private proxy for the opposition leader.

The legal document asserts that no official record, court finding, or investigation report links the former minister to the company. It highlights that making unverified claims from a high constitutional office harms public trust.

The notice points out that the current government itself engaged in official agreements with the exact same firm. It questions why contractual arrangements were made if the administration believed the firm was a political proxy.

The opposition leader stated that these claims are intended to distract the public from broader national issues. He emphasized that false accusations cause serious harm to personal reputation and public standing built over years.

The legal team representing the opposition leader clarified that civil and criminal legal proceedings will follow if an apology is not issued. A formal defamation lawsuit seeking appropriate damages will be filed in court.

In addition to sending the legal notice, the opposition leader issued an open challenge for a live lie-detector test. He expressed complete willingness to participate alongside the Chief Minister before the public.

He also stated his readiness to cooperate fully with any investigating authority, including central or state probe agencies. He demanded that similar inquiries be conducted into contracts signed during the present administration.

The development has triggered sharp reactions across political circles in the state, leading to heated debates between party members. Party representatives from both sides continue to trade strong criticisms over the matter.

Supporters of the opposition party have called the allegations a deliberate political campaign to weaken their leadership. They stated that legal remedies will be pursued to ensure accountability for public statements.

Meanwhile, government representatives maintain that political figures must remain open to public scrutiny and questioning. They asserted that official responses to the legal notice would be provided through appropriate channels.

Legal experts note that defamation notices between high-profile political figures set a strict framework for public discourse. The forty-eight-hour deadline places immediate focus on how the state leadership chooses to respond.

The issue has drawn widespread attention across regional news outlets and digital platforms. Citizens and political analysts are closely watching whether the matter will proceed directly to a courtroom trial.

Further clarity on the situation is expected once the stipulated time frame expires and legal counsels submit their official replies. Both political camps continue to monitor developments closely as the legal process unfolds.
