KTR Alleges Major Metro Rail Asset Scam

Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao made major claims against the current state leadership during a party meeting in Serilingampally. He claimed there is an ongoing plan to take over valuable assets related to the local transport system.
The leader stated that prime land spanning nearly 250 acres is being targeted for transfer. He estimated the total market value of these connected public assets to be around thirty thousand crore rupees.
According to his claims, the administration is putting pressure on the private operator managing the mass transit system. He alleged that the private company is being pushed out to allow the government to take full control of the infrastructure assets.
The opposition leader also stated that the state plans to absorb the private operator’s financial debt. He noted that moving a debt burden of fourteen thousand crore rupees to the public exchequer will hurt citizens.
He questioned why the central authorities have delayed approvals for major expansion routes like the link between Lakdikapul and Patancheru. He pointed out that while other states receive rapid clearances, local transport projects face obstacles.
The leader criticized the decision to cancel the direct airport connectivity line planned by the previous administration. He mentioned that the canceled route would have significantly resolved heavy traffic problems for daily commuters.
He reminded the gathering that the foundations for the current operational transport networks were laid and mostly completed under the previous state leadership. He urged the party workers to stay active and focus on public welfare programs.
The opposition party announced it will continue to monitor these asset transactions closely. They promised to expose any moves that risk public property or divert land assets to private individuals.
