Officials have been directed to prepare 2.5 lakh houses for a massive collective housewarming ceremony on August 15, 2026. This target aligns with Independence Day celebrations, symbolizing a new beginning for lakhs of beneficiaries across the state. The government aims to demonstrate its commitment to rural and urban welfare through this large-scale execution.
District Collectors have been given strict instructions to monitor construction progress on a weekly basis. The focus remains on overcoming technical delays and ensuring that essential amenities like water and electricity are provided simultaneously with the building structure. By streamlining the supply of materials and labor, the administration hopes to avoid the stagnation seen in previous years’ projects.
