KTR Criticizes CM Over Sadistic Pleasure Remark

In a significant political escalation in Telangana, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR, has launched a stinging verbal attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The confrontation centers on recent statements allegedly made by the Chief Minister, where he suggested that he derives a sense of “sadistic pleasure” from the criticisms leveled against him by the opposition and the general public.
Speaking at a gathering in Telangana Bhavan, KTR described these remarks as “shameful” and an indicator of a “disturbing mindset.” He argued that such comments show a profound lack of empathy toward the citizens of the state who are currently struggling with various systemic issues. KTR emphasized that a leader’s role is to address grievances with seriousness rather than finding personal satisfaction in the outcry of the people.
The BRS leader highlighted several pressing concerns that he believes the government is neglecting. He pointed to the tragic deaths of 140 Gurukul students and the ongoing distress in the farming sector, where paddy procurement has reportedly stalled. KTR accused the administration of failing to provide basic necessities like a consistent power supply and timely financial aid through the Rythu Bandhu scheme, leaving many families in a state of uncertainty.
Adding to the list of grievances, KTR raised the issue of pending fee reimbursements for students. He noted that many educational institutions are withholding certificates due to unpaid dues, a situation that has been exacerbated by recent legal developments. By failing to clear these payments, KTR claimed the current government is jeopardizing the career prospects of thousands of young people across the state.
KTR further alleged that the delay in crop procurement is a calculated move to avoid paying the promised bonuses and Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers. He stated that while the previous BRS government prioritized rural welfare and infrastructure, the current leadership seems more focused on political optics. The exchange marks a deepening rift between the ruling Congress party and the BRS opposition.
The BRS Working President concluded his address by reaffirming his party’s commitment to standing by the people. He noted that for over 25 years, the BRS has fought for the aspirations of Telangana and would continue to serve as a watchdog for public interests. As the political temperature rises, many are watching to see how the Chief Minister’s office will respond to these serious allegations of administrative insensitivity.
