India Joins P4M Grouping at United Nations Summit
India has formally co-sponsored the inaugural summit of the Partners for Multilateralism (P4M) initiative at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. This step marks a strong push by New Delhi to help modernize global governance platforms.
The nation joins key partner countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Kenya, Barbados, and the European Union. Together, these member states aim to strengthen international law and revitalize collective decision-making processes across global institutions.
During the event, diplomatic leadership underlined the urgent need to address the rising challenges in global energy, food security, supply chain resilience, and finance.
