CM Revanth Reddy Lays Stone for Future City

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has officially laid the foundation for the ambitious “Future City” at Mucherla. This massive project aims to transform the outskirts of Hyderabad into a global hub for technology and sustainable living. The Chief Minister emphasized that this city will not just be a group of buildings but a center for world-class innovation.

The Future City is designed as India’s first “Net Zero” smart city. This means it will focus on using clean energy and smart waste management to protect the environment. Spreading across thousands of acres, the plan includes dedicated zones for Artificial Intelligence (AI), life sciences, and health tourism. The government wants to attract top global companies to set up their offices here.

During the event, the Chief Minister shared his vision for the “Fourth City” of Hyderabad, following the historical growth of the old city, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad. He noted that the project would create lakhs of jobs for local youth and strengthen the economy. Infrastructure like the Skill University and high-speed roads are already under development to support this growth.

Connectivity is a key part of the plan. The Future City will be linked to the Hyderabad International Airport and major highways. Plans are also moving forward to bring Metro Rail and even a Bullet Train network to this region. This will make it easy for people and businesses to move between major southern cities like Bengaluru and Amaravati.

The Chief Minister assured that the development would be inclusive. He promised that people affected by the project would receive fair compensation and support. By focusing on green spaces, modern housing, and advanced technology, the government aims to make Telangana a leader in urban planning. The Future City is expected to put Hyderabad on the global map as a top destination for investment.
