Telangana CM Promises 40,000 New Government Roles

 

 

The youth of Telangana have received a significant assurance from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who announced the state government’s plan to fill an additional 40,000 government job vacancies in the near future. This promise is a major step towards fulfilling a core demand of the statehood movement and addressing unemployment among young people.

Speaking at a public event in Husnabad constituency, the Chief Minister detailed the ambitious timeline. He stated that the government aims to complete the recruitment for this new batch of jobs within the next two-and-a-half years of their administration. This commitment will bring the total number of government posts filled under the current Congress regime to a landmark one lakh jobs.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the government has already successfully recruited for 60,000 posts within its first year in office. He emphasized that the administration views job creation as a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the formation of Telangana State.By prioritizing large-scale recruitment, the government is actively working to realize the hopes and aspirations of the region’s youth.

Mr. Reddy also took the opportunity to critique the previous administration, suggesting that their focus was narrow and did not prioritize equal development across all constituencies. He cited pending irrigation projects like Gouravelli in Husnabad as examples of neglect, contrasting them with the progress made in other key areas. He stressed that the new government is committed to comprehensive development that benefits every district and community.

The forthcoming recruitment process is expected to cover a wide range of departments and services, including essential roles across various sectors.he administration is currently finalizing the formalities to expedite the notification process. This move is anticipated to ease the pressure on countless unemployed graduates across the state who have been diligently preparing for government exams.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister outlined his broader vision for the state’s progress. He mentioned the government’s focus on implementing key welfare schemes, such as the free bus travel for women and the provision of up to 200 units of free electricity for eligible families. He also spoke about the plans to construct twenty lakh ‘Indiramma’ houses for the poor over the next ten years.The message from the state leadership is clear: the government is dedicated to both immediate job creation and long-term social and infrastructure development. The focus now shifts to the relevant recruitment bodies to release the official notifications and start the application process swiftly.
