Director Buchi Babu Sana shared several interesting behind-the-scenes secrets about his highly anticipated upcoming film, Peddi. Starring global icon Ram Charan in the lead role, the movie has already generated massive excitement among film lovers and critics alike. In a recent interactive session with media representatives, the director opened up about the intensive creative journey, challenging shooting schedules, and unforgettable emotional moments that took place on the film sets during production.
One of the most notable incidents shared by the director involved a tense moment during a high-octane sports action sequence. Lead actor Ram Charan suffered a minor eye injury while filming a demanding scene, causing brief panic among the production crew. Buchi Babu admitted he was initially very anxious about how veteran actor Megastar Chiranjeevi would react to the accident. However, Chiranjeevi showed immense professionalism and calm, supportively asking to review the action footage instead of expressing worry.
The director also spent considerable time praising the dedication of the female lead, Janhvi Kapoor. He noted that she put extraordinary effort into perfecting her character, including taking intensive lessons to accurately learn and deliver her Telugu dialogue on set. To ensure complete focus on the project and avoid external distractions during the final post-production phase, Buchi Babu revealed that he temporarily deleted all social media applications from his personal phone.
