CM Chandrababu Naidu Meets Union Finance Minister

 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited New Delhi today. He met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss state development. The Chief Minister requested an additional ₹10,000 crore in financial support. This money is needed for the 2025-26 budget under a special central scheme.

Mr. Naidu explained that the state still faces money problems since the state split. He wants this funding to help finish the new capital, Amaravati. He also asked the Centre to give the next part of the funds as a grant instead of a loan. The Chief Minister thanked the central government for its support so far on projects like Polavaram.

During his trip, the Chief Minister is meeting several other Union Ministers.He plans to talk about roads, water projects, and ports. He wants to make sure all big projects in Andhra Pradesh move faster. Mr. Naidu is working to bring more industries and jobs to the state by coordinating with the central government.

Meanwhile, IT Minister Nara Lokesh spoke about new jobs in Visakhapatnam. He expressed concern over legal cases filed against new IT parks. He said these projects by companies like TCS and Cognizant could create over one lakh jobs.The government promised to protect these investments to help the youth.

In another major move, the state announced a new Population Management Policy. This policy will be ready by the Ugadi festival. It focuses on keeping the population balance and supporting families. The government also plans to give “Family Cards” to help people get welfare benefits more easily.
