Andhra Pradesh Showcases Tourism Power at WTM London

Andhra Pradesh took center stage at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025 in London, with Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh leading a vibrant showcase of the state’s cultural richness, scenic beauty, and investment potential. Held from November 4 to 6 at ExCeL London, the event drew global attention to India’s southern gem.

Minister Kandula Durgesh, accompanied by Special Secretary Ajay Jain, inaugurated the Andhra Pradesh Tourism stall. The stall featured a captivating Kuchipudi dance performance, drawing praise from international delegates. The minister emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s readiness to welcome global tourists and investors alike.

The state’s new Tourism Policy 2024–29 was presented, highlighting eco, adventure, wellness, heritage, and cruise tourism. Durgesh assured streamlined clearances and full government support for international investors. He invited delegates to explore Andhra Pradesh’s natural wonders and spiritual destinations.

The AP stall stood out with its immersive displays of Gandikota, Araku Valley, and spiritual hubs like Srisailam and Simhachalam. The minister’s interactions with over 30 international delegates focused on building partnerships for sustainable tourism and digital transformation.

Durgesh’s presence marked Andhra Pradesh’s growing influence in global tourism circles. The state’s commitment to infrastructure upgrades and digital outreach was well received. Delegates expressed interest in collaborative ventures, especially in heritage conservation and eco-tourism.

The minister reiterated the state’s goal to become a top-tier global tourism destination. With investor-friendly policies and rich cultural assets, Andhra Pradesh is poised to attract millions of tourists and create thousands of jobs.
