Hyderabad’s rising cricket sensation Tilak Varma received a grand felicitation from Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his stellar performance in the Asia Cup 2025. The ceremony, held at Pragathi Bhavan, celebrated Tilak’s match-winning knock against Pakistan that helped India clinch the title.
The 22-year-old left-hander, who hails from Badruka College area, was praised for his calm temperament and aggressive strokeplay. His unbeaten 69 in the final turned the tide for India, earning him accolades from fans, former cricketers, and political leaders alike.
