Telangana Leaders Mourn,  Harish Rao’s Father passed away

Hyderabad, October 28 — A wave of condolences swept across Telangana today as prominent political figures paid tribute to Tanneeru Satyanarayana, father of BRS leader and Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao, who passed away after a brief illness.

The late Satyanarayana, a native of Thotapalli village in Karimnagar district, was a retired government employee and a respected elder in the political circles due to his familial ties with BRS founder K. Chandrashekar Rao. His passing has drawn heartfelt responses from leaders across party lines.

BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao visited Harish Rao’s residence in Kokapet to offer floral tributes and console the bereaved family. Accompanied by his wife Shobha, KCR spent time with Harish Rao and his sister Lakshmi, sharing memories and offering words of comfort.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his sorrow, stating, “May the family find strength and peace during this difficult time.” AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi also conveyed his condolences, emphasizing the importance of unity and compassion in moments of grief.

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao cancelled his scheduled campaign for the Jubilee Hills byelection to be present with the family. His gesture was noted by party members and supporters as a mark of deep respect.

The mortal remains of Satyanarayana were kept at Krins Villas in Hyderabad for public homage. The final rites were performed at Mahaprasthanam in Filmnagar later in the afternoon, attended by a large gathering of political leaders, family members, and well-wishers.

Leaders from BJP, Congress, and other regional parties also extended their sympathies. Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao stated, “We stand with Harish Rao and his family in this moment of loss.”

The outpouring of support reflects the stature of Harish Rao in Telangana politics and the respect his family commands across the spectrum. Messages of condolence flooded social media, with hashtags trending across platforms.

This moment of collective mourning also highlighted the human side of politics, where rivalries are set aside to honor personal loss. The unity displayed today sends a message of solidarity and shared humanity.

As the state grieves, Harish Rao thanked everyone for their support, stating that his father’s legacy would continue to inspire his public service.
