Hyderabad Gets Boost from CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Sept 8 – In a bold stride toward urban transformation, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a trio of infrastructure initiatives today, aimed at strengthening the city’s water supply, traffic flow, and civic resilience.

Godavari Phase 2 & 3 Begin at Gandipet

The CM laid foundation stones for Godavari Phase 2 and 3 at Gandipet, marking a significant expansion of Hyderabad’s water grid. These phases are expected to boost long-term water availability and reduce seasonal dependency across multiple zones.

Neo Police Trumpet Interchange at Kokapet

At Kokapet, the Neo Police Trumpet Interchange was inaugurated to ease congestion between the Financial District and Outer Ring Road. Designed for high-speed connectivity and emergency access, the interchange is projected to reduce commute times and improve traffic safety.

16 Reservoirs Inaugurated Across City

In a parallel move, 16 new reservoirs under the Hyderabad Water Board were unveiled. These reservoirs will stabilize water pressure, support future demand, and enhance supply reliability in underserved areas.

CM’s Address at Golconda Resorts

Later in the evening, CM Revanth Reddy addressed officials and citizens at Golconda Resorts, emphasizing the government’s commitment to sustainable development. He called for public cooperation and assured transparent execution of all announced projects.

“Hyderabad deserves infrastructure that matches its ambition. These projects are not just concrete—they’re confidence,” the CM stated.

Public Response

Local residents welcomed the announcements with cautious optimism. “If they deliver on time, it’ll change how we live,” said a Kokapet commuter. Water board officials urged citizens to stay informed and support conservation efforts during rollout.

Implementation Timeline

Officials confirmed that tenders will be issued within the month, with contractor selection based on safety, speed, and accountability. Monthly reviews and public feedback sessions are planned to ensure transparency.
