Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Arrives in Pithapuram

Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan arrived in Pithapuram today to kick off a high-profile three-day tour. This visit is primarily focused on the grand Sankranti Sambaralu celebrations and a series of developmental reviews within his constituency.
Upon his arrival this evening, the Deputy CM was greeted by massive crowds of supporters and local leaders. Security has been significantly tightened across Kakinada district, with over 300 artists from 27 different traditional art forms prepared to perform during the festivities.
Tomorrow, Pawan Kalyan will lead the “Sankranti Sambaralu” at the Municipal High School grounds. The event aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh, including traditional folk dances like Dhimsa and Kuchipudi, alongside handloom exhibits and food stalls.
Beyond the celebrations, the Deputy CM is scheduled to visit Indira Nagar and Mohan Nagar colonies to inspect local housing sites. He will also personally review the conditions in flood-prone areas of Pithapuram to address long-standing grievances of the residents.
The tour will conclude on January 10 with a critical law and order review meeting at the District Police Office. He is also expected to lay the foundation stone for new infrastructure projects at the Rangaraya Medical College before returning to Amaravati.
