CM Revanth Promises Rythu Bharosa Funds Soon

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy made a significant announcement regarding the Rythu Bharosa investment support scheme today. While addressing a massive public gathering at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district, the CM assured farmers that the pending financial assistance would be released shortly. He confirmed that approximately ₹9,000 crore is ready to be credited directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers immediately after the conclusion of the upcoming municipal elections.
The Chief Minister turned the event into a high-decibel campaign for the urban local body polls scheduled for February 11. He urged the beneficiaries of the state’s welfare schemes, including those receiving fine rice through ration shops and free bus travel, to support the Congress party. Reddy emphasized that his government has already spent over ₹21,000 crore on farm loan waivers, benefiting more than 25 lakh farmer families across the state.
Taking a sharp dig at the opposition, the CM accused the BRS leadership of neglecting the agricultural sector during their decade-long rule. He claimed that the previous administration left the state’s irrigation projects and farmer welfare in shambles. Reddy challenged the opposition to witness the “People’s Government” in action, highlighting the ₹500 bonus being provided for fine paddy varieties as a testament to his commitment to the farming community.
He further stated that the Congress government is functioning without any political discrimination. Even women associated with opposition parties are utilizing the free travel facility in RTC buses, he noted. The CM concluded by asserting that a victory for Congress in the municipal elections would be a victory for the poor. He promised that the next budget in April would focus heavily on housing for the homeless and further rural development.
