CM Chandrababu Naidu Vows to Eradicate Crime in Andhra

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has launched a strong offensive against anti-social forces, promising to restore law and order across Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at a large public gathering on Saturday, the Chief Minister declared that his government would show zero tolerance toward those disrupting public peace. He emphasized that the state’s progress depends on a secure environment where every citizen feels safe.
The Chief Minister’s visit focused on the “Swarna Andhra–Swachh Andhra” initiative, where he inaugurated development projects worth ₹573 crore. Beyond infrastructure, his speech carried a heavy political message. He urged the people to reject “criminal elements” who he claims have harmed the state’s growth over the past few years. Naidu promised that the “rule of law” would be the only standard for his administration.
During the event, several key welfare and infrastructure milestones were reached:
- Net-Zero Initiative: He launched a first-of-its-kind “Net-Zero” social welfare hostel in Nagari, focusing on sustainable energy.
- Waste Management: Foundation stones were laid for over 100 solid waste management plants to clean up urban and rural areas.
- Capital Development: He reaffirmed that Amaravati remains the state’s permanent capital and development there will move forward at full speed.
Addressing local concerns, Naidu assured the residents of Nagari that Krishna river water would reach their constituency by 2029. He also announced that the government would absorb thousands of crores in power costs to ensure that electricity charges do not increase for the common man. The Chief Minister concluded by stating that his “war” is not just against crime, but against the poverty and neglect that held the state back.
