BJP Slams YSRCP for Irresponsible Conduct

Andhra Pradesh BJP President P.V.N. Madhav launched a scathing attack on the YSR Congress Party today, accusing its leadership of behaving in an irresponsible and undemocratic manner. Addressing a press conference in Visakhapatnam, Madhav expressed deep concern over the recent political climate in the state. He alleged that the opposition is intentionally using offensive and abusive language to create a negative perception of the current administration.
According to the BJP state chief, certain political leaders are unable to tolerate the rapid development initiatives being spearheaded by the NDA government. He claimed that this frustration has led to a lack of discipline and a growing disrespect for the political system. Madhav emphasized that such conduct is damaging to the democratic fabric of the state and urged all political workers to maintain decorum and coordination.
Turning to developmental matters, the BJP leader highlighted that the Union Budget 2026-27 provides a strong foundation for the progress of Andhra Pradesh. He noted that the fiscal deficit has been significantly reduced, paving the way for massive industrial growth. Specific sectors like chemical, cashew, coconut, and agro-based industries are set to receive major boosts, particularly in the North Andhra region.
The state BJP leadership also announced that agro-based projects worth approximately ₹1,000 crore would be developed in Uttarandhra. Plans are also underway to transform the state into a power hub and improve industrial connectivity through new corridors. Madhav concluded by stating that the central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, remains personally committed to making Andhra Pradesh one of the leading states in the country.
