AP Approves Massive ₹2 Lakh Crore AI Project

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board has cleared mega investment proposals worth over ₹2 lakh crore. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu chaired the high-level meeting that approved these major projects. This massive economic boost aims to transform the state into a primary digital and industrial hub.

A major highlight is the mega project by Reliance Industries in the Vizianagaram district. The government allotted 855 acres of land for a giga-scale AI Data Centre. This single project brings an investment of ₹1,08,010 crore to the region. It will feature a modern data hub and a dedicated cable landing station.

The state expects these projects to create thousands of jobs for local youth. The project focuses heavily on digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and clean energy solutions. Officials stated that the project will put the state on the global tech map.

The administration has promised a fast-track system to complete the initial phase quickly. Bureaucrats have been directed to clear all pending clearances without any delay. This investment is seen as a major win for the state’s economic growth.

Local communities are optimistic about the upcoming business and infrastructure developments. The project is likely to attract more ancillary tech companies to the region soon.
