AIMIM Backs Congress in Jubilee Hills Bypoll
n a move that surprised many, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi declared support for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The announcement came during a press meet at AIMIM’s headquarters in Darussalam, Hyderabad.
Owaisi openly criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing the party of neglecting development in Jubilee Hills despite representing the constituency for nearly a decade. He urged voters to choose a young and dynamic leader who could bring real change.
With AIMIM’s backing, Congress has gained a significant boost in its campaign. The party has deployed 40 star campaigners for door-to-door outreach. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to join the campaign trail in early November.
