Medical Camp in Statue of Equality by Cardiologist Vinod Miryala

A large-scale medical camp was successfully conducted on 07 March 2026 at JIVA Campus, Acupuncture Building, Sriramanagaram, Muchinthal, Shamshabad. The initiative was organized by Way to Moksha in collaboration with Vikasa Tarangini Mahila Arogya Vikas (MAV).
The camp, numbered 1582, was led by Dr. Vinod Miryala, a renowned cardiologist based in the United States, along with his wife Anirudha Miryala. Together, they brought forward a vision of preventive healthcare and holistic wellness for women and families in the region.
Focus on Women’s Health
The primary focus of the camp was cervical and breast cancer screening, along with tests for colon health and other preventive diagnostics. More than 200 participants attended, receiving free consultations, screenings, and awareness sessions.
Team Effort
Dr. Vinod Miryala was supported by a six-member medical team. They worked tirelessly throughout the day, ensuring that every participant received proper attention. The team emphasized early detection and lifestyle changes as key strategies to reduce chronic illness.
Stress and Chronic Disease
In his keynote address, Dr. Vinod highlighted that stress is a major contributor to chronic diseases. He explained that nearly 50% of such conditions can be minimized through regular practice of meditation and mindfulness techniques. Way to Moksha facilitated guided meditation sessions during the camp, helping participants experience relaxation and mental clarity.
Community Impact
The camp was not just about medical tests—it was about empowering the community with knowledge. Awareness sessions were conducted on nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. Women were encouraged to prioritize preventive health checkups and share the importance of screening with their families.
Testimonials
Several participants expressed gratitude for the initiative. Many women mentioned that they had never undergone such screenings before and felt reassured after receiving professional guidance. The presence of a globally recognized cardiologist added credibility and confidence to the program.

Legacy of Service
This camp continues the tradition of Vikasa Tarangini Mahila Arogya Vikas (MAV), which has been organizing medical outreach programs across Telangana. With the support of Way to Moksha, the initiative is expanding its reach, combining modern medicine with holistic practices.
Looking Ahead
Organizers announced that more camps will be scheduled in the coming months, focusing on women’s health, chronic disease prevention, and mental wellness. The collaboration between local organizations and international experts is expected to create a sustainable model for community healthcare.
