Eluru MP Denies Allegations in Farmhouse Case
Eluru Member of Parliament, Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav, issued a strong clarification , regarding the recent farmhouse controversy in Hyderabad. In a video statement, the MP denied any involvement in illegal activities, stating he had only attended a dinner party at the invitation of friends. He emphasized his commitment to the people of Eluru and promised that the truth would soon come to light.
The controversy began following a late-night raid by the Telangana Police at a farmhouse in Moinabad. While initial reports suggested a high-profile gathering, Mahesh Kumar clarified that he has never committed any mistake in his public life. He urged his supporters and party cadres not to believe social media rumors or misleading reports until the full investigation is completed.
Following the incident, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leadership took a serious view of the matter. State President Palla Srinivasa Rao issued a show-cause notice to the MP, asking for a detailed written explanation within 48 hours. As a disciplinary measure, the party has advised Mahesh Kumar to stay away from all official party activities until his name is cleared through the proper legal process.
Opposition parties, including the YSRCP, have intensified their political attack, demanding the MP’s immediate resignation. They have raised concerns over the presence of public representatives at such private gatherings. In response, TDP leaders maintained that the party follows a zero-tolerance policy toward any wrongdoing and will take appropriate action once the final report is reviewed by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Despite the political heat, Mahesh Kumar stated that he is fully cooperating with the authorities. He expressed confidence in the judicial system and mentioned that he would not betray the trust of the voters who elected him. The MP concluded by saying he is ready to face any inquiry to prove his innocence and restore his reputation in public life.
