CM Naidu’s “Speed of Governance” Industrial Push

Andhra Pradesh is entering a new era of business growth. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has launched a bold plan to help industries set up faster. He calls this the “Speed of Governance” initiative. The main goal is to remove old, complex rules that slow down progress.

During a high-level meeting today, the Chief Minister spoke with Central officials about the state’s future. He ordered his team to cut down the number of regulations significantly. Right now, there are over 800 rules governing industries. Naidu wants this number reduced to less than 100 as soon as possible.

The Chief Minister believes that “Ease of Doing Business” is no longer enough. Instead, he wants the government to focus on “Speed of Delivering Governance.” This means the state must act quickly to help investors. To make this happen, the government plans to pass new laws and ordinances by the end of May.

Technology will play a massive role in this change. Naidu wants to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to handle government approvals. By using AI, the state can reduce the need for human intervention. This helps stop delays and prevents any unfair treatment of business owners during inspections.

The plan also focuses on a “Phase-2 Deregulation” framework. This will simplify how mines and steel plants operate in the state. By making things clear and digital, the government hopes to attract big global companies. This shift is expected to create thousands of new jobs for the youth in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu’s vision is to make the state a top destination for global investment. He emphasized that the government should be a partner to industries, not a hurdle. Officials have been told to prioritize third-party inspections to keep the process transparent and honest.

The administration is moving fast to get these reforms ready. By June, the state expects to launch even more advanced digital tools for monitoring progress. This move is being seen as a major step toward making Andhra Pradesh an industrial powerhouse in India.

Local leaders and industry experts have welcomed the move. They believe that cutting red tape will boost the local economy. With fewer rules and more speed, the state is preparing for a massive wave of new factories and offices.
