Bill Gates Meets CM Naidu and DCM Pawan for Tech Progress

Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates visited the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat in Amaravati today. He held a high-level meeting with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to discuss global technology partnerships. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh also participated in these strategic talks focused on the state’s future.

The meeting highlighted the “Swarna Andhra 2047” vision, which aims to transform the state into a global hub for innovation. CM Naidu showcased the Real-Time Governance System (RTGS), demonstrating how data and AI are used to monitor public services instantly. Bill Gates expressed great interest in the state’s digital transformation and its impact on the common man.

A major focus of the visit was the “Sanjeevini” health project, supported by the Gates Foundation. This initiative uses digital health records to provide personalized medical care to citizens. Both leaders discussed expanding these digital health services to every village in the state to ensure affordable and quality healthcare for all.

In the afternoon, Bill Gates visited agricultural fields in Undavalli. He observed how farmers are now using drones and Artificial Intelligence for better crop yields. The delegation reviewed smart farming techniques that reduce costs and increase income for local farmers through advanced technology.

The visit concluded with a commitment to collaborate on education and nutrition. The Gates Foundation and the Andhra Pradesh government plan to work together on AI-driven learning tools for students. This partnership marks a new chapter in using global expertise to solve local challenges and improve the quality of life in Andhra Pradesh.
